Kurumi
A beautiful light hardwood timber (Around 600kg/m3) that is walnut brown with superior stability. This particular wood is thermo treatment (heat treated) to D2 or D3 specifications, and will be able to withstand intense heat for external cladding or for furniture.

-Merbau is Malaysia's National Wood. It is suitable for many usages but most popular for its usage in heavy construction, interior finishing, heavy duty flooring and furniture, staircases and external decking.

White Meranti (Shorea spp)
-Light to Medium Hardwood (495-995kg/m3)
-Moderately Durable but sapwood is subject to light borer attacks and is highly differentiated (grey) from the light creamy heartwood color.
-A timber popularly used for plywood, this species is also used for staircase, window and door sills, flooring, furniture and other general applications. Previously also used for railway sleepers but requires to be treated with creosote or diesel.

The above timber species are available as air dried or kiln dried sawn timber in various grades (eg. Select & Better Grade, Standard & Better Grade etc.) according to the Malaysian Grading Rules (MGR).
We also offer profile moulding (where possible) and planing services (S4S/E4E) for all sawn timber.
PEFC certification is available for most species.
